Breaking News on the NFL Home Front. Broncos released Travis Henry today. Shannahan said he didn't feel Henry's work ethic was sufficient enough to warrant a spot on the team roster.
I personally find that a little hard to believe. Hes at the very least a hot trade option. Who would just straight up release that kind of talent? makes no sense to me.

yeah that sounds pretty stupid to me as well, at least get what you can for a starting back. Guess this just means Selvin Young is one step closer to a 2,000yd season.

Shanahanigan probably didn't want the long drawn out media blitz that would go along with attempting to trade him. Funny thing is, he's a bit of a cap hit for the Broncos. Shanahan felt it was safe enough now, seeing as most teams are set at RB. Remember, this is not just a coach's decision, the front office had something to do with this as well. Really weird after all the sticking up for Henry that Shanahan did during that weed testing trial.
