BULLDOGZ
Grade: C
With the track record of this team any top pick couldn't hurt. It's obvious what the plan is down in Bettendorf, improve the pass game and the rest will follow. If I was the team owner I would have went for defensive players, but hey I don't run the BulldogZ.
FOOTBRAWLERS
Grade: B
The Brawlers addressed a weakness in their pass defense picking up safety Wayne Burk in the first round, then followed up by building on their weak passing game. The addition of a new wide out and tight end leaves us to expect the Brawlers to air the ball out more then ever.
HOOKERS
Grade: B
With an already amazing offense in place the Hookers invested heavily in improving their defense. Following two back to back eliminations by the top offensive team (Death Valley) in the playoffs Las Vegas is working to wards avoiding repeating history.
CADAVERS
Grade: C
Little surprise to anybody in the SFL the Cadavers draft yet another running back to their roster for the 4th season in a row. If anything we know when DV picks a back, he's sure to get some play time. Other high points include several defensive players who will surely steal their starting jobs within a season.
BUDLIGHT 40'S
Grade: A
The 40's defense has been the bane of their existence. Almost never able to stop anybody the 40's have addressed several issues that have haunted them for some time. If things click with the new players and their pass game continues to improve it's not at all impossible for the 40's to make it back to the Chilibowl... in a season or five.
MANDOS
Grade: F
I'm starting to think Cleveland and San Fransisco have allot more in common then meets the eye. The Mandos have drafted 3 tight ends in the past 2 seasons, as well as replacing several 4th string players who most likely won't crack the starting line-up ever. Lucky for them they still have the arm of Lem Rorex to lean on, for now.
